Half Rack Colocation

CloudKleyer offers Half Rack Colocation hosting tariff in Tier3 standard data centers in Germany and other countries. The service is ideal for companies that do not intend to use all the space in a full rack and want to reduce costs of renting hardware.

Half rack is the ability to use up to 20U of space. As in the case of the full rack, it will be provided with power backup up to 8 kW, complete with uninterruptible power supply and a full set of modules for ventilation and network connections.

The equipment shelves are located in a lockable cabinet.

Tier 3 data center security and Half Rack Colocation conditions

Autonomous operation of the data center in the event of a complete power failure due to its own diesel generators.

Maintaining a constant temperature in server rooms at + 24°C. Indirect adiabatic cooling systems and the principle of hot aisle containment. Backup air conditioning is organized according to the N+2 scheme: even in case of simultaneous failure of two air conditioners at once, the spare ones will automatically turn on.

Optical/thermal fire detectors are located on 2 levels: ceiling and raised floor. Active internal fire extinguishing systems. The client can select a room with both active and passive fire protection.

The racks are equipped with backup uninterruptible power supplies with support for the N+1 scheme: in case of UPS failure, the backup UPS will be connected automatically.

You can rent full racks, quarter racks and any amount of space for hardware colocation. The cost is 1 HE = €55. The price includes a suite of options: free Internet port with up to 100 Mbps bandwidth and one IPv4 IP address. You can also rent physical space for your industrial and commercial needs. We practice individual approach and flexibility in concluding the colocation agreements. Acceptable contract terms can be set according to the most important technical features of your project.


The terms and conditions of hardware allocation in our data center are 99.99% SLA. This means that servers and network components can be unavailable for no longer than 4 minutes and 23 seconds per month (52 minutes per year). All other times it is not allowed to disconnect hardware and make manipulations with wires.


Unlike most European data centers, our support team is available even via messengers. In exceptional cases you can contact us via the phone numbers listed on the homepage. Specialists from our technical support office respond to the client requests quick, not in 2 hours or several days. By ordering the colocation service from us you will not be left one on one with your problems.


We are offering to our clients a full technical maintenance of their hardware as part of the Remote Hands. Our engineers will migrate your servers to new hardware free of charge if you need it. CloudKleyer rents out physical dedicated servers and storage, VPS and cloud resources. First week of rental for testing is free. We check that the hardware is working properly and help with disaster recovery and repairs. You will not have to search for the necessary components, we will find, purchase and replace them ourselves.


We will give free Internet with a channel width of up to 100 Mbps for each client who ordered the colocation service from us. If necessary, we can add additional Internet connection speed up to 10 Gbps for an additional fee according to the selected tariff. It is possible to organize cross-connection to the Internet from different providers. We will connect your infrastructure to DE-CIX free of charge and, if needed, organize private direct access with minimal response time to the world’s largest clouds: AWS, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud and others.
