This rate is valid for both, our regular clients who rent hardware or host their capacities in our data center, and for those of our potential clients who host their hardware in other data centers. We keep in touch with all our clients via messengers, which greatly simplifies communication and often allows us to resolve emergencies in a matter of hours or even minutes.

Our extensive experience in working with complex infrastructures allows us to diagnose the causes of failures, troubleshoot and replace even obsolete and out-of-warranty components as quickly as possible. As part of the Remote hands service, cloudKleyer engineers replace processors, motherboards, RAID controllers, and solve other replacement and repair tasks. We keep enough spare parts in stock so that replacements can be made as quickly as possible.

Installation works

cloudKleyer engineers perform installation works of almost any level of complexity according to technical specifications. As part of the Remote hands service we perform installations of servers, storage systems and networking equipment. Such work involves installing equipment in the data center, connecting power, preparing and launching the system, and configuring network connections.

If necessary, cloudKleyer specialists can connect corporate IT infrastructures to public cloud services, create private and hybrid clouds, and set up VPN for stable and secure communication between the client’s offices in different countries.

Server migration

Data migration from one server to another is a complex and time-consuming task that requires specific knowledge and high qualification from the service personnel. During migration, the server architecture, static information, databases, applications and related software are migrated. There can be many options of server migration:

• From a dedicated physical server to another physical server;
• From a dedicated physical server to a dedicated virtual server;
• From a virtual server to another virtual server;
• From a physical server to the cloud;
• From one software solution to another (e.g. from Acronis Backup to Veeam Backup & Replication)
• From one version to another version of the same software (e.g. from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2019).

Relocation of servers and IT infrastructures is another service that cloudKleyer technicians provide as part of the Remote hands service. Engineers disconnect the hardware, make a full description of the infrastructure, and take pictures of the packed hardware. These photos are sent to the clients via chat messengers right during the preparation process. Due to such coordination, our clients always know at what stage their project is being implemented. The hardware is packed in the special packaging that guarantees physical safety during transportation.

In our experience, there was a case when several boxes with the client’s hardware were stolen from the transportation company. Thanks to our inventory list and photos of the packed hardware, our client was able to defend his interests in a legal dispute with the carrier.

Our specialists can also perform work on disconnecting and preparing the IT infrastructure for relocation on the client’s premises. We travel free of charge within the city limits of Frankfurt am Main and the region to evaluate upcoming works. It is possible to send our employees on a business trip to other cities in Germany.

Terms and conditions of the Remote hands service from cloudKleyer

In cases when you need one-time assistance with installation, repair or replacement of hardware, the cost of the Remote hands service is calculated based on the rate of €90 per hour.

However, when large-scale or long-term work is required, for example, server migration or infrastructure relocation, the total scope of the upcoming activities is estimated and a project is drawn up. Thus, the project price is fixed and does not directly depend on the time spent by the specialists.
